Raija Todd scored a game-high 21 and Bryant hit enough free throws down the stretch to hold off a Bentonville rally and eek out a 53-48 first-round win.
The Lady Hornets (11-15) led 33-26 after three quarters and were up by eight several times in the fourth before Bentonville (20-7) mounted a comeback. Bentonville cut its deficit to three on four occasions down the stretch, but couldn't get any closer.
