After a tough loss earlier this week to Fayetteville, Bentonville's win over Rogers on Friday night was just what his team needed, Bentonville coach Tom Halbmaier said.
The Lady Tigers (13-4, 2-2) kept the Mountaineers scoreless in the first quarter, while Avery Hughes opened up the scoring for Bentonville, chipping in the first seven points of the game, on her way to a team-high 18 points.
