Cailey Cochran came within two outs of another no-hitter Monday afternoon as Bentonville claimed a nonconference victory over Bald Knob in a game played at Arkansas Tech in Russellville.
The junior right-hander struck out nine Lady Bulldogs and walked none in a 95-pitch performance that improved her record to 17-1.
Jenna Wildeman had three hits and scored three times for the Lady Tigers (22-2), while Riley Hayes had two hits -- including a triple -- and scored twice. Ha
